The 16th International Assembly of the Knights of Rizal formally brought back on track the 98-year old organization to its ideals of perpetuating the ideals of the Philippine National Hero. It was fitting too that it was held for its first day on Feb. 23 at its headquarters along Bonifacio Drive in Port Area, Manila.

Former Supreme Court chief justice Hilario Davide Jr. on Sunday took his oath as the Philippines’ permanent representative to the United Nations, replacing Ambassador Lauro Baja Jr., ANC reported.

The 2007 International Assembly is just weeks away. The Chairman and his Committee for this special event is Sir Roger Quiambao KGCR. All interested in attending this spectacular affair in the Philippines are requested to inform Sir Roger Q within the next 2 weeks via email at attyrmq@yahoo.com.
